Gulf Air enhances Frequent flyer programme through partnership with InterContinental Hotels Group

Gulf Air has enhanced its Frequent flyer programme following a partnership agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group and its Priority Club Rewards programme, one of the largest hotel loyalty schemes in the world.
According to the new partnership deal, Gulf Air Frequent flyer members will be eligible to earn 500 miles per qualifying stay at over 3,500 InterContinental®, Crowne Plaza®, Holiday Inn®, Express by Holiday Inn®, Staybridge Suites® and Candlewood Suites® by simply joining Priority Club® Rewards and selecting Gulf Air as their preferred earning alliance.
To celebrate the launch of this partnership, Priority Club® is offering Gulf Air Frequent flyer members triple miles on all qualifying stays at any InterContinental Hotels Group property between now and 31 August 2004.
"Partnering with one of the world's largest hotel loyalty programmes offers our members a greater opportunity to quickly accrue frequent flyer miles," said Louise Robertson, Manager, Loyalty Programmes at Gulf Air. "Our partnership with InterContinental Hotel Group is yet another example of how we are bringing the best offers in the world travel market to our most valued and loyal customers."
Priority Club® Rewards members can convert existing points to Gulf Air miles. These miles can be redeemed for luxury weekends, including flights and accommodation, as well as experiences and activities in key destinations around the world.
Additional Priority Club® benefits include late check out until 2 pm upon request and room availability, families can stay free with up to four per room when paying flex/corporate rate, and complimentary weekday newspapers are offered to all members.
