Exact Software increases investment at Middle East headquarters
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, June 30 - 2004 at 12:41
- PRESS RELEASE
Exact Software, a leading manufacturer of enterprise resource planning software, is to make a further investment at its Dubai headquarters, as part of plans to make the Middle East one of its four key worldwide pillars, it was announced today.
"Exact's continued investment in the Middle East demonstrates the significance it places on the region in supporting customers deploying our applications and developing new business," said Nizar Badwan, general manager, Exact Software Middle East. "There are exciting developments ahead, and we need experienced and qualified staff who will support our activities throughout the region."
Exact, which has a policy to support the recruitment of Arab nationals, will seek to employ Emirati's in the new UAE-based positions, said Badwan. "As we expand in the Middle East, it is important that we have employees who are representative of the countries we will be working in. Exact is committed to developing local talent, and will always strive to appoint local workers wherever possible," he said.
Under the expansion plan, Exact will also open offices in Oman, the Levant and Egypt, as part of an 18 month-project to make the Middle East one of the company's four key pillars of the Exact global business. All offices will have dedicated country managers reporting directly to the Dubai Internet City headquarters, as well as to Exact's international head office in Delft, Holland.
Exact's revolutionary One-X concept allows organizations to manage their entire business enterprise systems from a single, shared integrated database, allowing easy, efficient and instantaneous sharing of information between headquarter and regional offices.
Global customers of Exact Software solutions include Siemens, L'Oreal, Eli Lilly, DAF Trucks and Caterpillar. A number of Middle East companies with offices around the world have recently signed with Exact, including EDUTECH, Streetscape and Kuwait's Al Sayer Group.
