- PRESS RELEASE
Bahrain's leading Islamic investment bank, Gulf Finance House B.S.C (GFH), today announced the launching of an ongoing summer internship initiative for young Bahraini nationals to help them hone their skills and prepare in advance to excel in their careers.
Emphasizing that GFH will continue to play a constructive role in community development, Dr. Al Dosseri said: "We are committed to develop the skills of young Bahraini nationals, gearing them up to excel in competitive work environments. We are confident that the training we offer will be an asset to them in future helping them in advancing their careers."
She said that this year GFH has selected Ms. Mona Tadayyon, a student of the Northeastern University, Boston as an internee and Mr. Fahad Al-Saad, a student of the King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a seven-month co-op training programme. Ms. Tadayyon will be working in the Corporate Communications Department and Mr. Al-Saad in the Financial Control Department of the investment bank.
Ms. Tadayyon will play a significant role in disseminating information on the rapid expansion and investment developments taking place in GFH, and on its various projects, while Mr. Al-Saad will gain hands-on experience in accounting and financials during the course of the training programme.
"Ms. Tadayyon will have the advantage of equipping herself with cutting-edge skills in communicating with the media, investors and the public in general in a fast-paced environment. Working with GFH will equip Mr. Al-Saad with modern accounting practices and financial reporting in line with international standards and corporate transparency which GFH follows," Dr. Al Dosseri said.
"GFH is growing at a fast rate and being a pioneer in innovative financial investment instruments, the training stint will chisel the capabilities of both Ms. Tadayyon and Mr. Al-Saad, preparing them to take up larger roles in future," she said.
Ms. Tadayyon is doing her Major in Journalism and Mr. Al-Saad in Accounting and both of them have been engaged in constructive and creative assignments while in the universities.
Thanking GFH for the training opportunity, Mrs. Tadayyon and Mr. Al-Saad said they were honoured to work with the investment bank which is a successful entity with high reputation locally, regionally as well as globally.
