International Air Charter plc, one of the world's largest independent air craft charter brokers have announced a tie-up with Albadie Travel Agency, a premier travel agency in the Middle East and part of the Albadie Group of Companies.

Under the agreement, International Air Charter has been appointed "Preferred Supplier" for the charter air travel needs of Albadie Travel Agency's customers as well as Albadie Group's senior management.

Based in Abu Dhabi, Albadie Travel Agency has been active in the travel market for more than 25 years handling business and leisure travel to all major destinations across the world. The company is well known for its unique Medical Holiday packages to popular spa and recuperation destinations across the globe, apart from well-trained and dedicated ticketing divisions.

Commenting on the tie-up, Elie Abdo, Director of Business Development, International Air Charter plc stated, "We are delighted to join hands with Albadie Travel Agency, who is an established and successful player in the Middle East travel market. Being a preferred supplier will bring us several business benefits as Albadie Travel Agency's extensive travel network and established database of customers will boost our market presence in this region. Albadie Travel Agency's specialized division, Albadie Travel Holidays also enjoys significant market share in the inbound and outbound leisure tourism market; a sector that we wish to focus on. We look forward to working closely with the travel agency to service their customers as well as to fulfill the travel needs of Albadie Group's senior management."

Albadie organizes trips to over 50 tourist and historical destinations across the world, offering customers the opportunity to stay in luxurious hotels or furnished apartments. The travel agency also offers passengers sea and river tours with full travel insurance during their stay.

Mr. Mohammed Juan Rashid Albadie, Chairman, Albadie Group, commented, "The dynamic business environment in the region and changing perceptions have created a need for air charter services. We have received several enquiries on air charter services from our premium customers who value time and privacy and prefer to travel according to their own schedule. While air charter travel is a very popular and common concept in many developed countries, many of our customers in the Middle East are unaware of how to avail of these services."

Hassan El Diasty, Deputy General Manager, Albadie Travel Agency said, "This is yet another step forward for Albadie Travel Agency in the path of our ongoing development plan to expand our travel network. Our agency is committed to use its strong market presence and reputation in the travel industry to increase awareness on charter air travel, and at the same time, offer our customers the best possible value for their money. Being an independent air charter broker, we are sure that Air Charter International can source aircraft at short notice from a large number of suppliers. Our customers can thus benefit from cost effective solutions because the company is able to source an aircraft closest to the location of the client at any time, saving unnecessary 'empty-leg' costs," he added.

Air charter services are most in demand among corporate travelers who need to travel quickly and conveniently from one location to another. Air charter offers unbeatable flexibility and privacy, allowing business travelers to move at their own pace, without the inconvenience of waiting for connecting flights or the danger of delays. Additionally, International Air Charter can offer its customers privileged services such as VIP Terminals and aircraft branding.
