Samsung's 'Olympic Medley' to go online in UAE

Samsung Electronics, the world leader in digital technology, has launched Samsung 'Olympic Medley', an online promotion giving the people of the UAE a chance to be part of the Olympic games. The online promotion will be held from 15th July 2004 to 14th August 2004.
"Samsung is committed to sports and aims to bring the wealth of its global sporting expertise to the Middle East. This spirit of sport corresponds with Samsung's corporate philosophy of contributing to humanity worldwide and in the Middle East. In keeping with this philosophy, we have designed an online competition, to give the people of the UAE a taste of the Olympic games," says Ramdas Rajamani, Marketing Manager, and Samsung Gulf Electronics.
At end of the promotion on 31st August 2004, 40 winners will be invited to a final quiz event, where their knowledge with regard to the Olympics will be gauged. Winners will be awarded Samsung mobile phones as prizes and Samsung Fun Club kits.
