New uplink for DMC broadcasters

Broadcasters in the Dubai Media City will now have a direct uplink to the Arabsat 2D, replacing a link via Tunis, under a new deal between SamaCom and Arabsat. SamaCom broadcasts some 36 TV channels and 25 broadcasters use its uplinks to 15 satellites.
