Sun revs up partner relations in Middle East with Harley-Davidson give away
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, July 15 - 2004 at 11:04
- PRESS RELEASE
Sun Microsystems Middle East and North Africa announced today that one of its key partners in the region, Tech Access Pakistan, secured a Harley-Davidson as the winner of Sun's recent reseller incentive program.
"Sun's partners drive a significant amount of our business in the Middle East, and incentives such as this Harley-Davidson promotion not only reward their diligence, but also promote an increased level of customer interaction and service. They also make life a lot more fun," said Graham Porter, marketing manager, Sun Microsystems MENA.
Sun launched the Harley-Davidson incentive scheme at a recent Sun iForce partner event, during which attendees discussed such topics as Sun's solution roadmap, tactics to increase sales in specific industry sectors, and the benefits of Sun's regional channel development provider (CDP) model.
"While our day-to-day incentive is increased customer loyalty and greater profitability through growing Sun marketshare across the Middle East and Pakistan, promotions such as the Harley-Davidson giveaway deliver to Sun's reseller community a tangible reward for 'revving up' and enhancing market reach in key sectors such as the SMB space," added Jawad Ahmed, marketing manager, Tech Access FZ-LLC, Dubai, Sun's CDP for the region.
