SWISS offers relaxing stopover option in Zurich

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), Switzerland's flag carrier has launched a stopover programme in Zurich for SWISS passengers.
Additionally, for the summer period, SWISS and Mövenpick Hotels have signed an agreement to provide SWISS passengers with up to 60 per cent off room rates at all Mövenpick hotels and resorts in Switzerland. Passengers travelling to Switzerland from now until September can avail of the offer and get a free room upgrade with gourmet buffet breakfast included.
The package also allows for the possibility of two children up to 16 years of age to share with their parents at no extra cost. Travellers can choose from Mövenpick Hotels such as Mövenpick Egerkingen, Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich-Airport or Zurich-Regensdorf.
Felix Rodel, Area Manager, Middle East, Pakistan and Iran, Swiss International Air Lines, said: "SWISS and its partners can offer some of the best vacation packages available. At SWISS we want the experience to continue after arrival. Additionally, the stopover option is designed to allow our passengers to experience a little taste of Zurich and rest before continuing their journey, be it in Switzerland or elsewhere in our network."
If choosing to stay in Zurich, travellers can select from any number of areas and venues to visit, including museums, theatres and theme parks, or alternately, the city offers some of the best shopping in Switzerland. Travellers looking to experience nature can venture to many areas within Switzerland, for an opportunity to experience pure Swiss air. For the more energetic - take to the mountainous Alps to see Europe's highest mountain - the mighty Matterhorn, or venture to the Jungfraujoch or the Mont Blanc.
SWISS travellers can also avail of the SWISS Family Fares promotion, which entitles families with five members or more to considerable savings. Additionally, passengers booking through SWISS' e-booking service on www.swiss.com(/UAE) can obtain the best fares, with the extra benefit of free delivery of tickets or easy collection from the airport prior to departure.
