Misty mountains of the Musandam
Step back hundreds of years and cruise through the sparkling seas of the Musandam on a traditional wooden dhow. The mountainous coastline is rich in marine life, excellent for diving and snorkelling. Tour operators want to further develop tourism in the area, but say the pristine environment must be preserved.
