DIB launches Visa summer draw

The promotion runs from August 1 to September 30, and offers 20 cash prizes.

It is simple to enter and easy to win. Each time a customer uses a DIB Visa card they receive an entry into the prize draw. So the more purchases they make with their DIB Visa card the greater their chances of winning.

While each purchase made within the UAE with a DIB card qualifies the customers for one entry, international purchases entitles the DIB card user to two entries in the draw. Two draws will be held to pick out the winners. The first is scheduled for August 31 and the second for October 6. Ten prizes will be drawn on each occasion.

Salah Mohammed, DIB's Assistant Vice President for Marketing, said: "Dubai Islamic Bank believes it is right to encourage people to use cards in the interests of furthering the security and safety of transactions. When customers open an account with Dubai Islamic Bank they are given a free Electron Card that can be used to withdraw cash from DIB's ATMs and from any ATM around the globe that bears the Visa Electron logo. Customers can also use the card to pay electronically for purchases at retail outlets anywhere in the world.

"DIB Visa gives our customers convenience, reliability and worldwide acceptance. DIB offers a reliable visa card that provides as much as 40 days of free credit and its operations are Sharia'a approved."

In addition to being a fully Sharia'a-compliant immediate payment facility, DIB Visa Cards offer a selection of benefits and privileges. These include free International motoring Club (IMC) membership, travel insurance, purchase protection and special offers from more than 170 UAE shops and stores.
