Al Yousuf Motors records 30 per cent rise in service activities

Following the successful launch of the UAE's first quick, high-quality servicing within the extensive Al Yousuf showroom and workshop facility in April, Al Yousuf has reported a 30 per cent increase in its service activities.

The 29-minute Quickservice programme has been adopted from a concept originated by General Motors and is now on offer to owners of all GM vehicles. Dedicated technicians have been specially trained to ensure the highest quality of handling and delivery of fast service, exclusive to GM customers. Only original GM parts, which fit all GM vehicles, are used.

Commenting on the success of the service, Eqbal Al Yousuf, Vice Chairman, Al Yousuf LLC, said: "The 29-minute GM Quickservice initiative helps us meet the growing needs of the UAE motoring community and maintain our position as one of the leaders in the automotive business. "

Terry Johnsson, Managing Director, General Motors, said: "The local auto after sales services market is highly competitive and speed and efficiency are paramount to striking a chord with the customer. We are keen to provide value added services through our retailers and once again Al Yousuf has proven that it can implement successfully customer relationship management strategies that benefit GM owners."

Created for convenience, GM owners can avail of lube oil and filter replacements without prior appointment. For the very competitive price of just Dhs. 85, the service also includes a 15 point inspection on all interior and exterior fittings including lights, tires, all fluid levels, wipers and battery and up to five liters of quality oil and a genuine GM filter. Customers are guaranteed a voucher for a free service on their next visit if their cars are not serviced within the promised 29-minute period.

"Through the 29 minute GM Quickservice, we provide a facility that seeks to retain existing customers coming towards the end of the existing warranty agreement and attract other customers who have sought to service their vehicles at other workshops. We also offer a 5,000 km scheduled service at as per the GM maintenance recommendations," added Mr Al Yousuf.

The 29 minute service is available from 7am to 7pm, Saturday to Thursday, at the Al Yousuf GM Quickservice on Sheikh Zayed Highway near the second interchange.
