Doha Bank adopts Oracle E-Business Suite for enchanced customer services

Oracle Corporation, the world's largest enterprise software company, today announced that Doha Bank, the leading Qatari financial institution has selected Oracle E-Business Suite which covers Oracle Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Oracle Financial Services Applications (OFSA) in order to achieve total integration between analytical and operational CRM.
The integrated nature of these Oracle Applications modules will provide the bank with a 360-degree view of its customers across all service and sales channels enabling the bank to build targeted marketing campaigns that address each customer segment with the products and services they need. Doha Bank will utilize Oracle Financial Data Model, Performance Analyser, Transfer Pricing, as well as Risk Management modules of the Oracle Financial Services Applications to gain insight into customer, segment, channel and product profitability. This enables the bank to optimize its portfolio of services, delivery channels and marketing plans for improved customer service and enhanced performance.
"In order to maintain our market leadership, Doha Bank needed a better understanding and analysis of banking transactions and customer information - it's not enough to just collect data, we must analyze it to better serve our customers' needs," stated Mr. Seetharaman Acting General Manager of Doha Bank

Doha Bank is already in the process of implementing several modules of the Oracle E-Business Suite including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Human Resources Management and Payroll. Over 500 organizations in the Middle East have selected Oracle E-Business Suite as the core of their business transaction management.
The Oracle E-Business Suite is the industry's first integrated suite of Internet business applications that automate critical business processes, offering customers unprecedented choice and flexibility in implementing business applications. Its open architecture and single data model allow applications to be deployed as individual modules, business flows, or as an entire integrated suite. The Oracle E-Business Suite could be deployed on the customer infrastructure or as an outsourced service.
