Craig Cook transferred from a 5 star hotel chain in Brisbane, Australia, where he held the position of Night Clubs Manager, overseeing the overall management of the bars and clubs operation.

Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Craig Cook brings to InterContinental Dubai his extensive experience in operational bars and beverage management in the leading hospitality industry in Australia and America. This includes almost 9 years of management positions in the hospitality industry.

Craig Cook joined Disney Cruise lines as a Cocktail Bar tender in Florida in 1996, and worked his way up to Cocktails Exhibitionist and Bars Supervisor for 6 years. He then joined a 5-star hotel chain in Brisbane Australia in 2002 as Outlet Manager where he developed new concepts and managed the lobby lounge, then moved on to managing the 24-hour dinning restaurant. It was after 1 year of his employment that he was a part of the opening team for the hotel's major Night Club as he subsequently became the Night Club Manager. Cook moved up to being the hotel's Bars and Night Club Operation Manager until the beginning of the year 2004.

His main goal as Bars and Beverage Manager of InterContinental Dubai is to sustain and further advance an existing nightlife environment that would target various markets and customers, and firmly establish the InterContinental Dubai as the most entertaining hotel in Dubai.

One of Craig Cook's favourite quotes since he came to Dubai is: "Success is not a journey, it's a destination"
