Through this appointment Al Khawarizmi has received its "Learning Solutions" competency which qualifies it as an accredited centre for the technical training of all Microsoft technical software products. Al Khawarizmi will utilize Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) for all its Microsoft courses. Al Khawarizmi is authorized to issue Certificate of Attendance for students on completion of each course and a Master Certificate will be issued directly from Microsoft upon completion of all tracks in a Certification course.

Mr. Naeem Radi, Al Khawarizmi Institute CEO further expounded that the agreement with Microsoft was concluded after the institute implemented all the required conditions for receiving this international competency. This, among other things, calls upon the availability of an established academic program matched with large enrollments, as well as the provision of proper facilities equipped with adequate state of the art tools and appliances to cope with the size of students and the availability of qualified instructors who are accredited by Microsoft itself.

Mr. Radi further pointed that Microsoft visited Al Khawarizmi Institute in Abu Dhabi to observe the adherence to all required conditions before granting the "Learning Solutions" status. The decision upon inspection was to promptly grant the status to Al Khawarizmi, wherewith the institute's name was included in the list of institutes and establishments that are globally recognized and accredited by Microsoft. This will further entitle Al Khawarizmi to participate in the forthcoming GITEX 2004 exhibition as a partner of Microsoft Gulf Fze LLC.

It is worth mentioning that this agreement also entitles Al Khawarizmi Institute in Abu Dhabi to host any of the seminars and symposia that Microsoft holds in the region to advocate for its new projects and programs. Further, the agreement is practically an advanced step towards Al Khawarizmi's attainment of the Gold Certified Status, which represents the highest level of Microsoft's global relationship and cooperation with educational institutions.
