Speaking at the event, Maan Ahmadieh, Intel's Channel Manager in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, reconfirmed the emerging opportunities in Oman, and informed that this channel programme is part of a series of initiatives designed to offer ground-up support to channel partners - in order for them to tap these opportunities and maximise technology proliferation across the nation.
"It is key for us to share information about our recently launched technologies with our channel members in Oman to ensure that they have the information that they need to plan and grow their business "said Ahmadie, "There are a number of opportunities today for local IT integrators, such as the one represented by mobile computing and the advent of the digital home era."
Intel is stepping up its presence in most countries around the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region, with plans to go into new cities in every market in order to enhance its ties with local assemblers, through its channel programs which involve information sharing as well as technical and marketing support.
