New Director of Sales & Marketing for Rotana Hotels, GCC

Born in Lebanon, Mohamed has lived most of his life in the United Arab Emirates. Graduating in Hotel Management he began his career in 1992 with a 5 star hotel chain in Abu Dhabi, progressing from the Banqueting Department through to Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. Mohamed's 12 years experience has led him through in Food & Beverage and on to Sales & Marketing.

Mohamed is no stranger to Rotana Hotels nor the area, and is a well known face in the local and regional, renowned for his devotion to his clients needs. In 1995 he worked with the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers in Abu Dhabi as Assistant Director of Sales and his main task, at that time, was to assist in the set-up of the Area Sales Office of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, taking charge of sales effort for the 5 Rotana properties in the area. Mohamed was promoted to Area Director of Sales before moving on to another 5 star resort chain in Al Ain as Director of Sales & Marketing in 2001, where he stayed for 3 years.

Mohamed has gained rich and varied experience over the years and , on his return to Rotana, he will be based in Rotana's Kuwait office working with the sales teams of the Rotana properties in the Middle East and GCC. His main role is to develop the GCC office with emphasis on implementing new strategies for key accounts relationships.
