USQ in Dubai officially announces Academic Scholarships for Undergraduate students

USQ in Dubai has officially announced Academic Scholarships for Undergraduate students desiring to study Bachelor programs at the university in the new intake commencing September 2004.

Dr. Brian Cook, Executive Director, USQ International and official spokesperson for USQ in Dubai explained, 'The scholarship process is based purely on the merit system and it recognizes and encourages bright and intelligent students. The scholarships have been introduced to help students with financial concerns to also realize their career goals and academic dreams. USQ in Dubai offers its Academic Scholarships indiscriminately and students of all nationalities are eligible for applying towards attaining the scholarship.'

Students from India and Pakistan who have completed their final exam with a minimum of 80% are welcome to apply for the Scholarship at USQ in Dubai. Students from the British System ('O' levels) need to have at least 4As and 2Bs of their O level courses and senior students from the British System (A' levels) need to have at least 2As of their A levels courses to be eligible for applying for the Scholarship. The university has taken all measures to provide an equal opportunity to all students and hence other students studying from other academic systems may apply and they will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The Academic Scholarships which are based on tuition fees is a rewarding partial scholarship of 15% of the tuition fees. These scholarships are provided for the first term of study with a renewal of the same every term based on a review of performance of the candidate at the end of each term. Scholarships are available for full time/ part time undergraduate students beginning term in September 2004 as long as their application meets the university entry requirements and approvals.

The last date of applying for the Scholarship is September 01' 2004. The Bachelor programs offered at USQ in Dubai are Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Mass Communication. The scholarships are also extended to the Freshmen Programs undertaken by students who complete their O levels or Year 11.

USQ in Dubai provides through the Scholarships, a great opportunity for all undergraduate students to receive an internationally recognised Australian Accredited Bachelor degree right here in Dubai.
