Top Swiss hotel reveals secret behind unfailing success with Middle East travellers
- Switzerland: Sunday, August 22 - 2004 at 11:54
- PRESS RELEASE
Many Middle East travellers seem to have traded off their traditional European getaways for destinations closer to home this summer.
"In spite of recent reports citing fewer Middle East visitors to the Lake Geneva region this summer, where the Beau-Rivage Palace is concerned, I am happy to say that we are enjoying a healthy flow of Arab guests, so some might say it is easy for me to be optimistic about the situation," said Masrouki.
"The Lake Geneva region as a whole is tremendously well established as a destination for Arab families and we are extremely well prepared to cater to Middle East visitors," Masrouki added.
Masrouki attributes the Beau-Rivage Palace's unfailing success with Middle East visitors to the personalised approach to service that the hotel offers.
"We always try to give our guests something extra, for example we have excellent relationships with leading private schools and clinics in the Lake Geneva region and, in the build-up to summer, we made sure prospective visitors in the Middle East knew about this," he said.
"During the spring months, we received a large number of calls from Arabs intending to visit our region, who needed advice and assistance in booking summer school courses for their children or hospital or beauty treatments for themselves and their spouses."
"Many of these calls were turned into bookings at the hotel as callers realised we took their needs and requests very seriously," he said.
