Al-Falak to target cyber security market in the Middle East

Al-Falak will distribute Vanguard's comprehensive suite of information security software solutions throughout the region.

Under the terms of the agreement, Al-Falak SPD will offer regional clients Vanguards security software solutions including the Administrator, which provides easy, automated security administration; the Advisor, which offers intelligent security event analysis, detection, notification, and automated electronic report distribution; the Analyzer, for providing operating system and security assessment, risk identification, and threat analysis, as well as specific recommendations on how to fix problems that the software identifies; the Enforcer, which is an Intrusion Detection solution for continuous monitoring, enforcing, and alerting; and the Security Centre, which offers Windows-based point-and-click simplicity for decentralized RACF (Restricted Access Control Facility) security administration.

The agreement will also add to Al-Falak SPD's portfolio a range of specialised Enterprise Security solutions, most notably, the ez/SignOn, an Enterprise Identity Management Solution; the ez/AccessControl for extending Mainframe Security to the Windows environment throughout the enterprise; and the ez/Integrator for bringing Mainframe Security to enterprise applications.
