The demonstrations will be staged on a joint stand launched by Fono Distribution Services, LCC, the Middle East's leading consumer retailer of mobile phones, accessories and services in conjunction with mobility giant Nokia. "This will be the first opportunity most UAE consumers will have to try out the hi-tech phone/radio 8310, which has a fresh new industry look and feel, provides WAP access over GPRS, has an integrated FM radio, changeable front and back covers and great voice features," said Robert Bie, General Manager, Fono.
"Expert Fono teams will be on hand to demonstrate these interactive features, allowing the public to learn more about these great new phones and how they can change lifestyles."
The move marks Fono's first participation in Computer Shopper, which will be held at the Airport Expo Dubai, from October 13-19, and is aimed at building awareness both of the company's mobility expertise and of the new ground-breaking Nokia products.
"We have a bright 72 square metre stand where the phones will be on show," said Bie.
