AUST Network's Education Technology Programme is the first of its kind in the Middle East & the AGCC

Ajman University of Science and Technology's Network's newly accredited programme of Education Technology is considered to be the first of its kind in the universities of the Middle East and the Gulf.
" The programme is taught in a number of American and Canadian universities but is not available in the Arab universities. It is a very new subject that related to the mechanisms and ways of producing educational programmes. The subject involves a lot of technological methods that helps graduates to be specialized both in technology and education and allow them a better job-opportunity ", added Dr Jidi.
He said," More than 250 graduates have successfully completed the course and managed to secure jobs even before the full accreditation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The University had hired highly qualified experts to design the programme to be taught in accordance with the needs of the regional markets. The experts have thoroughly married between the technological system we have and the content of the programme."
He said," The objective of introducing the programme is to meet the rapidly growing needs of new specialisations in the region and to meet our community needs for better services, he added. The new course has attracted many students in the past and the Faculty of Education and Basic Science which offer this course is been overwhelmed by application for the same."
Dr Wajdi said, opportunity to join the programm is very much possible for new comers interested to pursue their studies in Education field.
