  • PRESS RELEASE

One of Indonesia's leading manufacturers of upmarket hotel and resort furnishings and lighting design options is to follow up its Middle East exhibition debut at the Hotel Show in Dubai in May by establishing a permanent presence in the region.

Dubai, UAE
Based on the exotic island of Bali, Warisan is already a respected supplier of innovative, customised furniture, lighting and accessories to major hotel chains such as Inter-Continental, Hyatt, Hilton, and boutique hotel groups including Parrot Cay Resort, Turks & Caicos and Fregate Resorts Private, Seychelles.

Appearing for the first time in the Middle East at The Hotel Show, which takes place at Airport Expo Dubai from May 20-22, the Warisan range gained wide acclaim for its innovative Asian contemporary lines and use of natural material on its debut at the recent Milan Hotel Show.

"The Hotel Show will expose our products to leading designers, architects, procurement agents and hotel owners in the Middle East," said Warisan's managing director and co-owner, Vanessa Robinson, from the company's head office in Bali. "We will be establishing a permanent presence in Dubai to maximise the benefit of the show exposure."

Presently undertaking its first major project in the Middle East at the Chedi Serai Hotel in Oman, Warisan says many of its custom-made designs are distinctive because of the strong tropical infusion drawn from Indonesian roots. Its willingness to work closely with designers has given the company an edge in the market catering for ultra-luxurious and celebrity accommodation. Its permanent Dubai presence, details of which will be announced at the exhibition, will complement designer showrooms in Italy and the United States.

On display for the first time in the Middle East will be Warisan's innovative ensemble linking bed design with exquisite artistic headboards and lamps. Exotic materials, such as plantation teak, coco and sono woods, coconut shell inlay, woven fabric and other unique materials and woods have been infused to create innovative and functional models.

Warisan will give its range of exotic Indonesian furniture a Middle East debut at The Hotel Show prior to establishing a permanent presence in Dubai.
