Equally at home in the tropical Caribbean, cosmopolitan Europe and, additionally, in the Middle East, Seller is looking forward to adding the Dubai experience to her hotel career. She said: "It seems no matter where you travel these days, people are talking about Dubai and this is especially so in the hotel industry.

"Overseeing operations at the Al Sondos properties means I will be working at the heart of the city, and I am looking forward to catering to the discerning multi-cultural clientele that favour the type of suite and apartment accommodation that is our speciality here."

Most recently enjoying the post of executive housekeeper at the K-Club in Antigua in the West Indies, Seller has also worked in the same position at a number of Movenpick hotels around the Middle East region, including resorts in Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, as well as at Cuisine Art on Anguilla in the British West Indies.

After training in the hotel sector in Germany, she started her career in Frankfurt, before moving in to housekeeping operations in hotels in Berlin, Munich and then London - with a two-year spell out as a spa manager at a German resort.

In her new role, Seller will be responsible for fine-tuning hotel operations at the 106-suite Al Sondos Suites by Le Meridien, located opposite City Centre in the heart of Deira, and its sister property, the 144-unit Dar Al Sondos Hotel Apartments by Le Meridien in Bur Dubai.
