Motivate Publishing makes high-profile editorial appointment

Motivate Publishing has appointed Gina Johnson to the new position of Group Senior Editor.

Gina will be responsible for all Motivate Publishing's consumer lifestyle and contract titles, and will also become the Editor of Emirates Woman, the UAE's best-read English-language women's monthly magazine.

Gina brings to Motivate Publishing more than 15 years of experience in magazines and newspapers in Australia, Asia and Europe. Prior to joining, Gina was editor-in-chief of B magazine for Hachette Filipacchi in the UK following a career as editorial director of lifestyle magazines in Australia for Pacific Publications.

Before these executive positions Gina was with Australian Consolidated Press (ACP) as the editor of CLEO, Australia's biggest selling women's glossy. She took over the title at the age of 23 making her Australia's youngest national magazine editor.
