F&B promotions at the JW Marriott Dubai

Mr. Gerrit Graef, Director of Operations at the JW Marriott Dubai, is proud to announce the promotion of two Food and Beverage leaders within the hotel.
Faiek El Seddani has been promoted to the position of Food & Beverage Operations Manager at the JW Marriott Dubai.
Egyptian national Faiek joined the hotel 12 months ago as Catering Manager, bringing with him a wealth of hotel experience, having worked in various locations worldwide for international hotel chains.
Faiek's new position sees him overseeing the operations of 13 food and beverage outlets, including the award-winning JW's Steakhouse, Polynesian outlet Bamboo Lagoon, and rooftop shisha café Awafi. In addition, Faiek will be in charge of a large room service operation, covering 344 rooms.
Olwin De Souza has been promoted to the position of Catering and Banquet Service Manager. Olwin joined the JW Marriott Dubai in 1999 as Restaurant Manager for Bamboo Lagoon. He was promoted to Assistant Restaurants Manager in 2001, and to the position of Restaurants Manager in 2002 - in charge of three outlets.
In his new role, Olwin will co-ordinate a huge catering and banqueting team. The JW Marriott Dubai has 31,000 square feet of flexible meeting and conference space. Two magnificent, column-free ballrooms provide elegant banquet space or break down for smaller functions, while eleven additional conference rooms can cater for small to mid-size functions.
A popular destination for catered events and banquets, the hotel plays host to over 350 weddings per year, as well as a number of high-profile social engagements and product launches.
Located in the heart of cosmopolitan Dubai, adjacent to the Hamarain commercial and shopping complex, the JW Marriott Dubai offers 344 luxuriously appointed rooms, 39 spacious suites and four Royal Suites with private swimming pools.
