D-Link to roll-out incentive-driven Partner-Development Program at GITEX 2004 to solidify channel relationships

In addition to the launch, display and demonstration of several advanced products in various categories, D-Link Middle East will unveil a revamped strategic business-partner development plan for the region, designed to inform, support, enhance and motivate key channel-partner activities. This focused plan will aim to augment strong relationships at every level, from distribution to retail, SMB, home/end-user, enterprise and telecom.

Partnerships
As a brand built around the 'value' concept, D-Link plans to set standards in the networking industry with the introduction of various channel and retail partnership development programs during GITEX 2004.

Regional promotions will be announced which will target distributors and resellers providing exceptional benefits for top performers with best practices.

Focused partnership programs designed to encourage System integrators and Network solutions companies will also be introduced. Tailored to their needs, these programs are designed to maximize SI efficiency using D-Link support, training and recognition. The aim is to create a high-level of confidence between the vendor and the SI channel to streamline processes.

A retail-partnership development program aimed at driving retail activity, especially for SOHO products will be launched. Segmented retail-partners will enjoy volume-based privileges and benefits at their level in addition to complete vendor support from training and promotions to price-breaks and valuable rewards, into the future, starting with a strong back-to-school and work season.

Products
Positioned for a timely GITEX release will be several great new additions to the D-Link product line.

The world-renowned 'Xstack' Stackable Gigabit Switch Series will make its Middle East debut at GITEX 2004. Easily the most affordable, high-performance and future-proof product in its class, in the world, the XStack series is set to become a serious contender in regional markets. Also on display will be other high-performance layer-3 managed gigabit chassis switches from D-Link's Xstack family.

Also demonstrated live at GITEX 2004 will be the DSM-320 Media-Lounge wireless-media player. The flagship product in D-Link's entertainment and multimedia lineup, DSM-320 has the potential to revolutionize the 'digital-home' entertainment concept in the region.

Also launched or demonstrated at GITEX 2004 will be several new and highly enhanced, feature-rich ADSL products like the next-generation ADSL2/ADSL 2+ routers. Wireless products like the DSL-G604T and DWL 2700, incorporating cutting-edge technology and the fastest connection speed in the business will also be displayed.

Announcements
Among the major announcements to be made at GITEX 2004 will be the launch of our new-look, redesigned Middle East website. Created to supplement more precise communication between D-Link and its customers at every level, the new site will feature several key improvements including enhanced technical support, product updates, partner locator, D-Link ME news and press releases.

Also announced will be plans for the opening of various new branch offices in the MENA region to serve customers better.

The D-Link Middle East booth will be situated in Hall 7, stand H7-2.
