- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai Cable Company (DUCAB) has announced that it is providing a number of scholarships for well qualified Masters students to study at The British University in Dubai (BUiD) this September.
The prestigious awards are the first scholarships to be offered for BUiD students. The announcement comes just after BUiD received accreditation eligibility status for all of its Masters programmes in Informatics, Project Management and Education from the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Commission for Academic Accreditation.
"The University is delighted that DUCAB has chosen to grant these scholarships which will give students an opportunity to study with us. BUiD values greatly the support that it receives from organisations in the Emirates and hopes that other companies will want to be associated with the University in this way," said David J. Lock, Registrar and Acting Chief Executive of BUiD.
The scholarships will be awarded to high achieving, well qualified students who might not otherwise be able to study a Masters programme. Students who apply for a Masters programme and receive an offer of place at BUiD will be eligible to apply for a DUCAB scholarship.
