Emirates Home Show opens doors on Thursday

The eagerly awaited Emirates Home Show - the regions premier design, interiors and property show - is fast approaching and excitement in the UAE continues to grow.

Taking place at The Jumeirah Beach Hotel Convention Centre on Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th September, the Emirates Home Show promises to provide a one-stop solution for Emirates residents with any home related matters. Leading companies from the property development, finance, furnishing and home technology markets will be exhibiting their products and services and in addition many other activities are planned.

'There will be a number of areas of interest for visitors to the Emirates Home Show' Declared Ken Jamieson, ITP's Director of Events. 'Local experts from all home related industries will be conducting seminars on topics ranging from buying property in the UAE to gardening. There will be onsite competitions including the chance to win an entire lounge from the show's sponsor Pan Emirates and of course Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will be holding design lectures on each day which have already proved to be hugely popular amongst the UAE public.'

Celebrity designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, star of the popular BBC television programme 'Changing Rooms' will be the host of the Emirates Home Show. As well as his design lectures, Laurence, working together with Pan Emirates, will be transforming three rooms over the course of the show. 'Visitors will have the chance to see a room changing in front of their eyes.' Claimed Chris Scott, General Manager of Pan Emirates. 'It will give them a unique opportunity to see the thought and planning that goes into creating a room that fulfils someone's dreams'

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Vice President of UAE Business Women Council - Faiza Al Sayed - will officially open the Emirates Home Show. The event opens to the public with a ladies morning from 11am to 2pm on Thursday 16th September and from 2pm to 9pm for the general public. On Friday doors open at 12 noon until 9pm for all and on Saturday 18th September the show runs from 10am to 9pm. For parents who wish to take their time visiting all of the attractions, entrance is free for children under 14 and there is a supervised children's playroom.
