'Premium 2004' inaugurated in Dubai

Mr. Abdulrahman Ghanem Al Mutaiwee, Director-General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce (DCCI) inaugurated 'Premium 2004' earlier today.
Mr. Mutaiwee toured the pavilions of the exhibition accompanied by Mr. Helal Al Marri, Director General of DIEC and Hoff Robinson, Manager, Channels Exhibitions LLC, The organizing company.
Mr. Mutaiwee assured that exhibition industry is making growing and accelerating successes in Dubai due to its unique locations amongst the markets of Gulf, Subcontinent anf Far East. " DCCI always gives supports, promotes and give assistance to exhibitions as a part of its strategy of promoting trade opportunities in Dubai", he stated." The flourishing of exhibition industry in Dubai is a great opportunity for the participants to penetrate and discover the markets of the region", Mr. Mutaiwee said.
Enlisted of the big 50 big specialized exhibitions held in Dubai yearly, "Premium 2004" marks a large panorama of everything from novelty promotional items to quality incentives and luxury gifts. The list of exhibitors includes 63 companies which represent UAE, Malaysia, Germany, Taiwan, India, Korea, China, Philippines, Turkey, Thailand and Syria.
Last year, "Premium 2003" attracted 4911 visitors from 45 countries, including 59% of UAE, 22% of GCC countries plus 7% from Middle East. Mr. Robinson hopes to see more than 5000 visitors saying that " Premium 2004" marks a significant event as it shows the most recent products which are recognized as international standard in terms of specifications. He indicated that the exhibitors of Taiwan, Philippines and China are coming to look for partners and dealers to distribute their products. While Philippine' pavilion is the largest, Syria and Malaysia are first time participants.
