Emirates Bank to host investment Seminar entitled 'Ideas and opportunities in the global investment landscape'
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, September 14 - 2004 at 11:52
- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates Bank Al Shaheen Club is hosting an investment Seminar on September 20th in Dubai for its Al Shaheen Club priority banking customers.
Recent years have shown that no single investment strategy wins all the time. Many individual investors however, still try to chase the next best asset class or the latest trend with only limited time, resource and insight.
Investors are seeking portfolio solutions, which offer diversification across multiple asset classes. As global markets become more volatile, reducing risk and preserving capital has become increasingly important. One proven way of improving the risk/reward characteristics of a portfolio is through diversification.
In this respect, Emirates Bank developed and launched a range of risk graded multi-manager investment portfolios. Morgan Stanley was appointed as the investment advisor to this initiative. The four portfolios that were launched are the Emirates Bank Cash Plus Portfolio, Emirates Bank Conservative Managed Portfolio, Emirates Bank Balanced Managed Portfolio and Emirates Bank Active Managed Portfolio. Morgan Stanley's role as investment advisor is to actively advise on the asset allocation for each portfolio based on the economic outlook.
The initiative was the first of its kind in the UAE but it is a well known and popular investment concept in the international markets. This diversified offering is usually only available locally to a privileged few who have the significant asset base required for a direct investment banking relationship. High net worth clients via the Al Shaheen Club can take advantage of the offering from as little as $25,000 and enjoy the benefits of an actively managed well diversified portfolio in line with their risk and reward requirements.
