AUST Network Faculty of Education & Basic Sciences to launch a new post-graduation programme

Ajman University of Science and Technology Network's Faculty of Education & Basic Sciences is fully engaged in preparing the necessary documents to introduce the new post-graduation programme in Educational-Administration.
"Another graduation programme in mathematics and IT teaching will also be introduced to meet the need of the regional and local markets. The Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences is offering a number of programs including Bachelor in Education Technology (teacher training program in Islamic studies& Arabic language (teacher training program in mathematics sciences), Bachelor of Education in teaching English as a foreign language, and Bachelor of English in educational technology ," added Dr Awad.
"The Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences has recently formed a technical committee to study ways and means to upgrade and improve the curricula of the programmes on offer in preparation for the accreditation renewal. The Faculty of Education aims to graduate teachers who have a strong faith in their Islamic religion and who are well equipped with knowledge and skills that enable them to achieve the educational goals in their community ", said Dr Awad.
"Our main objective is to develop the learner's communicative competence in Arabic and at the same time cater for the foreign languages, especially the English language. We also aim at equipping them with the latest educational technologies and modern teaching techniques that enable the teachers to solve educational problems".
