Sharjah Economic Development Department selects Foundry

The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has opted for Foundry's award winning BigIron and FastIron chassis based switches coupled with FastIron Edge Switches to implement the setting up of the network in its new office building.

SEDD, working in close co-operation with all concerned authorities in Sharjah strives to constantly improve the services and facilities offered in the industrial and service sectors. SEDD provides potential investors with an essential and thorough source of insight and knowledge about the business environment in Sharjah.

"We have selected Foundry Networks for several reasons. We wanted to deploy VoIP and Video Conferencing in our setup and required a ready infrastructure. Management, scalability, and ROI factors have also been considered important while this decision was being made", said Mr. Ali Salem Al Mahmood , Director General SEDD.
