Now in its second year, Storage Guide Middle East 2004 is the essential guide for organisations across the region that face unprecedented demands on their storage capacity and strategic storage plans. Faced by a multitude of choices of different topologies, approaches and media the guide offers a unique guide to the key players in the market.

Commenting on Storage Guide Middle East 2004, CPI Chief Executive Officer Dominic de Sousa said: "Organisations, increasingly, are coming to realise that timely access to and reliability of data are central to their operations. And consequently, that storage is a strategic weapon, an enabler rather than a cost centre." He added "The guide offers a way through the maze, with background material, profiles of key players and background of other companies active in the region."

EMC, the world leader in information storage and management, was recently named by analyst group IDC as the region's leading storage software provider. As a participant in the guide, Mohammed Amin, Regional Manager, EMC Middle East commented, "The Middle East's storage market has become increasingly competitive, and end-users require straightforward information about the business implications of managing and protecting their data. CPI's Storage Guide can play an important role in raising awareness among decision-makers about how to increase competitive advantage and retain market share through information management strategies."

Storage Guide Middle East 2004 is one of a number of industry specific guides that CPI publishes each year. Each one is available via www.cpilive.net.
