Media registration for GITEX opens

"GITEX is the place where media professionals can meet, explore and connect with IT industry leaders. We have received several requests for pre-registrations from the local, regional and international media wanting to cover the event. Our state-of-the-art media centre will be available for registered journalists from September 30 for the duration of the event," said DWTC Director General Helal Saeed Khalfan Al Marri.

The GITEX Media Centre will offer both local and visiting media with an ideal workspace, complete with computers and office automation sponsored by HP. Networking Solutions at the press office has been arranged by Bond Communications.

Key facilities being provided at the media centre located diagonally opposite hall five and next to the Sheikh Rashid Hall include a large soundproof air-conditioned room, ample seating space, telephone and fax lines, a breakout room for conducting interviews, catering services, office services, Internet access and pigeon holes laden with news and support materials from the participating exhibitors to assist in timely, informative and compelling provision of information and news about GITEX across the world.
