- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, September 19 - 2004 at 12:37
- PRESS RELEASE
Peribit Networks, the world leader in WAN application performance, today announced that it will be exhibiting at GITEX 2004 to demonstrate its latest cost-saving and performance boosting solutions while highlighting its new strategic relationships with major global IT vendors.
New for 2004, Peribit will be highlighting its solutions in the disaster recovery and data replication area, where it has recently delivered joint customer solutions with VERITAS and Network Appliance (NetApp).
"Network capacity and application performance is a growing challenge for Middle East organizations, and we've structured our 2004 GITEX participation around addressing that issue from a business and technology perspective," said John Rea, regional director, Peribit Networks.
"What is new from Peribit at this year's GITEX is our expanding range of solutions, and new industry alliances with some of the biggest names in the storage business. These relationships give us the ability to provide our growing list of regional customers with truly enterprise-class, disaster recovery solutions for mission-critical WAN environments," added Rea.
Live demonstrations at GITEX will demonstrate that VERITAS and Peribit Networks allow organizations to replicate their critical data across their existing WAN connection for maximum data availability. Peribit Networks instantly increases existing WAN capacity by up to 10 times without time consuming and expensive WAN upgrades, while VERITAS products ensure that organization's critical data is available at multiple locations.
By deploying NetApp replication solutions in conjunction with Peribit WAN optimization, companies achieve improved data availability and cost savings.
Peribit Networks can be found at GITEX 2004 in Hall 6, Stand L6-1.
