Fastlink is the first communication company in the Arab region to provide Al-Jazeera Channel News with pictures

In cooperation with Al-Jazeera Channel, 'Fastlink' has launched its Video News Service that allows subscribers to receive information and news updates with picture & text through MMS service.
Mr. Arafeh praises the efforts made by Fastlink, which aims at introducing innovative technologies, such as GPRS, MMS, to offer services such as, mobile banking, mobile marketing, and other entertainment tools. A wider range of data services, Fastlink provides includes news flashes, weather forecasts, and horoscope updates.
Today, Fastlink is the region's pioneer in exploiting the full potential of mobile phones. It offers customers a wealth of data services that serve to reinforce its leading position in Jordan's mobile market, thus enhance its role in developing the information sector. "Fastlink believes in the need to spread awareness to the importance of information services in facilitating people's lives." Mr. Arafeh concludes.
Mr. Hamad Al Nuaimi, Al Jazeera Marketing Director expresses his satisfaction for the strategic partnership with Fastlink that was initially established earlier this year. He adds, "The MMS news service would serve the Arab world, where audience have reached more than 40 million, in catering to their specific interests and desires. Moreover, due to the success of Al Jazeera Mobile Services since their launch, we hope to spread such services to other countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Al Jazeera Channel will always offer its audience the best news services utilizing state of the art technologies."
Mr. Mohammad A. Al-Obaidly the CEO of "Al Majaz Telecom Technology" added that the new distinguished service is included in the plan that "Al Majaz" have put in order to accompany the latest technologic development in introducing "Al Jazeera Mobile" service so the end users cannot only have the latest news on their mobile phones, also to have it with best technology available.
