Tripp Lite to showcase new UPS systems, KVM switches and inverter/chargers at Gitex 2004 IT Trade Show

The show will take place October 3-7, 2004 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (Hall 6, Booth # N6-1).

Tripp Lite will be introducing several new UPS systems with advanced features not usually available at such low prices. New SmartOnline(TM) 3-Phase UPS Systems provide mission-critical 3-phase or single-phase equipment with the highest level of power protection available true on-line, pure sine wave, zero transfer time operation. SmartPro® Rack/Tower and Omni VS UPS Systems will also be on display. SmartPro® Rack/Tower UPS Systems offer pure sine wave output and an internal SNMP web slot in as little as 1U of rack space. Omni VS UPS Systems offer automatic voltage regulation technology at prices lower than most line-interactive UPS systems. In addition, a new Internet Office® UPS System can be seen at this year's show that provides everything you need to protect a computer, internet connection and peripherals in one compact, low-profile box.

New KVM switches will be introduced at Gitex 2004 that can control an entire network (up to 512 PCs or servers) in just 1U of rack space. These NetDirector(TM) KVM Command Centers can save the IT professional time, money and space; the slim 1U rackmount console design includes a keyboard, 15" LCD screen, touch pad and 16- or 8-port switching capability. New 2- and 4-port models offer wireless keyboard/mouse support and self/bus power in compact desktop designs to control up to four PCs or servers.

Tripp Lite DC-to-AC Inverter/Chargers will also be highlighted at Gitex 2004. These heavy-duty APS Inverter/Chargers provide the most reliable alternative energy sources during utility power problems including blackouts. They provide AC power and rapid battery recharging when utility power is present and deliver clean, frequency-controlled AC power from attached batteries during blackouts or brownouts.

Tripp Lite is launching a new line of surge suppressors designed to accommodate most plug types throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Three new SUPER6OMNI surge suppressors offer six universal outlets and either British, French/Belgium or German plug configurations. A new SUPER5DEU model designed specifically for German-style plugs and outlets includes five Schuko outlets and a Schuko plug. All new surge suppressors offer robust surge, spike and line noise protection.
