Sybase to unveil some of its latest products and technologies during Gitex 2004

Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure and wireless software and a consistent exhibitor in Gitex -Dubai, will demonstrate some of its latest products and technologies.

Among the product releases that will be shown this year, will be Financial Fusion Server and Financial Fusion Banking Suite. This 100 percent, Java-based, multi-tiered, open standards design, is the most flexible, scalable, and reliable e-finance platform on the market today.

FFS lets you build the most comprehensive financial solutions today, yet grow and adapt as technology evolves, while the Financial Fusion Banking Suite is an offering designed to meet the online delivery requirements of the financial services industry. Specific solutions for banking, small business, and corporate customers can be used individually, or as part of the complete suite. Furthermore, Sybase will show Sybase Enterprise Portal; an open and scalable portal framework that provides an intuitive, secure and personalizable environment for end-users; rapid development and deployment tools for developers; and an easy-to-use console for administrators.

Sybase will preview as well its market leader Mobile and Wireless Technology. Sybase is a recognized leader in providing complete, end-to-end mobile enterprise computing solutions. Based on the concept of "Always Available, Occasionally Connected" computing, we enable workers to access data and enterprise applications, to be more productive, regardless of network availability.

Visitors of the our Stand in Sheikh Rashid hall (H9-1) will get to know the latest in Sybase® Adaptive Server® Enterprise Sybase ASE builds on a reputation for business-critical performance and cost-effective computing, and is faster, more efficient, and easier to deploy and maintain.

Finally and In order to show its Commitment to Developers, Sybase will show in Gitex 2004 Sybase PowerBuilder® 10.0, enabling greater developer productivity across heterogeneous computing environments. PowerBuilder 10.0, a market-leading rapid application development (RAD) tool, provides support for J2EE™ and Microsoft® .NET and tight integration of design, modeling, development, deployment, and management.

Additionally Sybase will demonstrate Sybase DataWindow® .NET. A major feature of the new version of PowerBuilder, DataWindow .NET simplifies and accelerates the creation of data driven enterprise applications — including rich and smart client — for any .NET environment.
