Taj Palace Hotel Dubai participates in Moscow Leisure Fair

At the Moscow Leisure Fair 2004, taking place from 22 to 25 September, the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai participates for the third consecutive year as part of the Dubai contingent led by the Department of Tourism Commerce and Marketing (DTCM).

The General Manager, Yannick Poupon exclaimed, "Year on year, the Russian tourists visiting Dubai continue to increase substantially because of the aggressive marketing and promotion efforts led by DTCM, in conjunction with hospitality partners like us. Our previous participation in 2002 and 2003 has been fruitful looking at the increasing trend of visitors from the CIS market at our hotel."

Sanjeev Tandon, Director of Sales and Marketing adds, "This leisure fair is one of the major travel fairs in Russia. From 55 countries participating in 2002, it grew to 59 countries in 2003. That goes to show how much potential the Russian market is to a lot of countries. Russians do travel on their holidays and season breaks, and as always Dubai is a preferred holiday destination for them. With an exceptional product, the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai garnered a good share considering we were amongst the city hotels that hosted probably the largest contingent of Russian holiday travelers last year.
