- PRESS RELEASE
Pure Gold Jewellers, LLC., one of the UAE's fastest growing jewellers, today announced its partnership with Companion Points, the region's largest smart card chip based lifestyle rewards program, giving shoppers a chance to accumulate & redeem points from an extensive network of dining, entertainment, shopping, leisure, services & travel outlets.
"We are delighted to bring the Companion Points program to our loyal customers," said Karim Merchant, Managing Director of Pure Gold. "Purchases reflect your lifestyle and Companion Points allow our customers earn valuable points while shopping for exquisite jewellery in any one of our exclusive boutiques and showrooms."
Using its smart card technology, Companion Points' cardholders can accumulate points on their cards even as they shop. Points earned can then be redeemed instantly by simply presenting this card from which points are deducted or they may be saved for a later occasion - thus making them an 'alternate currency.'
"We welcome this tie up with Pure Gold as it gives us both the distinct advantage of reaching out to more loyal customers and rewarding them," according to the Account Manager at Companion Points.
With multiple showrooms to be launched by the end of 2004, including the recently opened shops at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai and Hamdan Street in Abu Dhabi, Pure Gold moves ahead with plans to open 35 retail boutiques in the UAE by 2006. Also, it will further expand to the Gulf region within the next two years.
Recently, Pure Gold received the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation for international standards in quality management making it the first and only business in the Middle East jewellery retail industry to have complied to and achieved such a noteworthy endorsement.
