Emirates Bank promotes UAE expertise in Trade Finance

As a major bank focused on assisting the UAE economy via expertise in international trade, Emirates Bank has combined its knowledge of the local environment and international best practices to offer an extensive range of trade-related services.
Over 250 corporates have recently attended these seminars and training sessions and have been appreciative of the efforts made by the Bank in updating their expertise as well as assisting them in conducting business. The seminars have not only focused on the intricate aspects of trade finance and services but also on the future of international trade. Services like Factoring have also been discussed. Corporates attending the Seminar have actively participated in them and found them to be not only to informative but also assisted them in streamlining their trade activity.
Inaugurating a recent seminar, Mr. Abdul Wahed Al Fahim, General Manger Corporate Banking Emirates Bank, mentioned, "Emirates Bank has constantly strived to offer a wide range of international and domestic trade products and services to its customers through investment in technology and commitment to excellence in service. In just over two decades Emirates Bank has emerged to be a leading provider of Trade Services to corporates in UAE and the Bank's double-digit market share is reflective of the same. With a state of the art paperless outsourced processing environment as well as Trade experts who are often asked for opinions, Emirates Bank has remained committed to the needs of it's clients and the economic requirements of the UAE."
Maninder Bhandari, Head Transaction Banking, Emirates Bank said: "Trade seminars and Training sessions for corporate customers would be an ongoing feature wherein the Bank would have Emirates Bank experts speak on various aspects of Trade Finance. This forum would also serve to share customer ideas and experiences and guide all to ensure providing convenience to corporates in conducting their business. The formation of the Emirates Bank Transaction Banking Services unit, encompassing Trade, Factoring and Cash Management are indicative of the same."
