Dubai Healthcare City announces The Royal College of Surgeons

The Dubai Health Care City (DHCC) announced that the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland has granted accreditation to the 'Specialty Practi-Med' Programme being held in Dubai from September 28th-29th at Godolphin Hall, Emirates Towers Hotel.
The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland has granted up to 12 credit hours for this educational activity which will address the full scope of musculoskeletal health issues and sports medicine, including knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand problems, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. The program will focus on both prevention and treatment of these conditions.
Omar Muawiyah Al Shunnar, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of DHCC said, "The 'Specialty Practi-Med' Programme has been recognized and granted accreditation by the leading regional and international health departments and institutions such as the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. This confirms the high standards of the Programme and the commitment of DHCC to support the efforts of the healthcare professionals who are on the frontlines of care."
The other institutions that have granted accreditation to the Programme includes the Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar, which has granted up to 15 credit hours for this educational activity, the Saudi Council for Health Specialties has granted up to 8 hours, the General Health Authority in Abu Dhabi has granted up to 13 hours and the Continuing Medical Education & Professional Development Committee of the United Arab Emirates University Faculty of Medicine and Health Science has granted up to 14 credit hours for this educational activity.
This Specialty Practi-Med program has been designed for orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, and physical therapists. Primary care physicians with an interest in treating musculoskeletal problems and athletic trainers are also encouraged to attend.
