Automotive division accredited with ISO9001:2000

Having received the award from the ISO Management, U.K., an internal presentation was made to Mr. John Murray, Manager of MJS Automotive Division for his team's excellent achievement. Mr. Murray was presented with a framed certificate by Mr. Philip D'Mello, Chief Internal Auditor of MJS group of companies.

Mr. Murray was delighted at the culmination of many months of hard work and accepted the certificate with pride on behalf of the team saying: "MJS Automotive Division is one of longest established motor trading companies in Bahrain and the company has worked hard to lead the way in excellence over the years. The team has continued to place emphasis on providing excellence in customer service and we are thrilled that this award has been accredited to us as an outcome."

ISO is the system of standards set by the International Organisation of Standardisation and deals with establishing quality and procedural systems in business in order to improve the most important aspects of quality, which all customers require.

In its mission to continually better customer service MJS Automotive Division appointed QEC Middle East as consultants for ISO certification, which was conducted by QEC Ltd (UK). QEC is a UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited assessment body and is managed by leading professionals in the field of quality whose aim, through a process of training and dedicated auditing, is to provide the service and manufacturing sectors every opportunity to progress towards world class standards. With the hard work and team efforts of the management systems are successfully implemented and QEC (UK) certified the Automotive Division with ISO 9001:2000.

The automotive division of Mohammed Jalal and Sons was established in 1964 and holds the franchise for Jaguar, Peugeot, Suzuki and Subaru. The company has a full service department and bodyshop for all brands of vehicles and a comprehensive spare parts division located in Al Khamis.
