eCompany launches Dial Virtual Port Service for businesses to facilitate remote Internet access

eCompany, Etisalat's one-stop e-powerhouse business unit that provides Internet services and total e-solutions, today announced the launch of the new Dial Virtual Port Service (DialVPS) that enables businesses and large organisations to provide remote Internet access to their employees.
This service provides an easy billing mechanism through the receipt of a single bill in the organization's name rather than receiving individual bills for each user within the firm. An organization can specify the number of Internet access ports it wishes to set-up and a virtual pool of ports will be provisioned to it by eCompany. The organization will pay a fixed monthly rental for the number of virtual pool ports it has subscribed to.
The subscriber's user population would access this virtual pool through a public nation-wide DVPS 400-5-level number from anywhere in the UAE. Optionally, the customer may elect not to use the public DVPS number and lease his own private toll-free number.
Announcing the launch of these two services, Mr. Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar, General Manager, eCompany, said: "The DialVPS Service is a reliable way to equip your workforce with the means to connect to the Internet easily and in a cost effective manner. This innovative service allows flexibility and enhances the ease with which corporations can provide their employees with Internet access."
With a one-time registration fee of AED500 and a monthly subscription fee of AED400 per port, companies can provide remote access to their employees. In case they choose to have their own private number for the service, they will need to pay a one-time registration fee of AED200 and a monthly subscription fee of AED750 for the private number. In addition, normal call usage charges will be applicable.
"This service has made billing very simple and offered a choice of access routes for corporations. We are also keeping in mind our commitment to provide the most economical Internet access pricing in the region," added Julfar.
For greater customer convenience, a help desk managed by skilled professionals has been set up by eCompany. The help desk is open to receive customer queries and respond to their complaints on a 24X7 basis. Customers can call the eCompany contact help desk toll free on 800 6100.
