- Monday, September 27 - 2004 at 10:39
The UK's leading awarding body for leadership and management qualifications has launched a suite of three programmes that focus directly on developing coaching and mentoring skills.
The ILM Level 3 Certificate in Coaching for Team Leaders and First Line Managers is designed for those who have responsibility for developing their team members. The focus of the qualification is on using coaching as an improvement tool, helping team leaders and first line managers to pass on their experience and expertise to others.
The ILM Level 4 Diploma in Management Coaching & Mentoring is designed for those managers with a wider responsibility for coaching & mentoring new and newly promoted employees, especially junior managers, to enable them to perform to their full potential.
This programme supports managers in actively supporting the growth and development of their organisations and facilitating change by nurturing talent, enabling learning and development, and encouraging personal growth and career development.
The ILM Level 5 Diploma in Leadership Mentoring & Executive Coaching is designed for those people working to meet the need for effective leadership in organisations. It is widely recognized that leadership comes through personal development and growth, the acquisition of a range of critical leadership skills, and an insight into other people and oneself.
Leadership developers, consultants and senior executives who have completed this programme will be better able to act as mentors and executive coaches to senior managers and others wishing to become more effective leaders.
