Emirates has reaffirmed its training partnership with the UAE Ministries, with a recent certificate presentation to ministry staff.

The 13 young men recently completed the General English course at the Emirates Aviation College - Aerospace & Academic Studies, and are now taking Aviation English, in preparation for their six-month course in Air Traffic Management.

Mohammed Al Budoor, Principal of the Aerospace & Academic Studies wing of the college, said: "We are delighted to welcome the young recruits of one of the UAE ministries to our college where they are sure to enjoy a friendly and studious atmosphere while undergoing rigorous training. We wish them well."

The Emirates Aviation College - Academic & Aerospace studies, located close to Dubai International Airport, inaugurated its Air Traffic Management Training department this year. Students undergo training using the state-of-the-art, three-dimensional Air Traffic Control simulator (Adacel MaxSim) which features high quality, photo textured visual scenes with exceptionally realistic weather simulation.

Other courses offered by the college include Aerospace Engineering, Electronics & Computers, Tourism Management and Business Management Studies. The programmes lead to vocational higher BTEC diplomas awarded by UK-based Edexcel Foundation.
