Cellucom to launch its fifth showroom at Dubai Knowledge Village

Cellucom, one of the premier distributors of mobile communication devices and accessories in the Middle East, has announced the launch of its fifth showroom in Dubai.

The new showroom will be located at Dubai Knowledge Village, the hub of technology education and media based industries. The inauguration of the new showroom will be held on September 28, 2004 at 6:00 pm.

"The new showroom, which will be located at Block 6, Knowledge Village is aimed at all those who live and work in the surrounding areas. Our aim is to cater to more than fifteen to twenty thousand people working in Dubai Internet City (DIC), Dubai Media City (DMC) and Knowledge Village. This is our fifth showroom in Dubai and it is our goal to increase our presence amidst our customers, offering them our varied service," said Arun Nagar, CEO, Cellucom.

"Dubai Knowledge Village, DIC, DMC and its surrounding areas have a conglomeration of IT, education, media and advertising industries with a workforce that is young and tech savvy. Cellucom, through its latest expansion, plans to consolidate its presence among this dynamic group of professionals and upwardly mobile youth," he added.

The inauguration of the showroom is aimed at attracting the young students, employees and residents of the area and will feature attractive dance programmes - Salsa, Fire Dance and Choreographed Dances by the European Dance Troupe, and other prominent performers from Dubai.

"The inauguration will actually be a daylong event, where visitors can browse through several Cellucom products through its kiosks and relax on the beanbags placed at foyer of Building 2A, Black 6, enjoying the refreshments accompanied by DJ music.

As part of the launch, Cellucom is offering several value-added gifts for purchases made from the new showroom for a period of one month. A free Bluetooth headset will be given away with the purchase of select models of Sony Ericsson mobile phones; a TwinMos Memory Card free with purchase of select Nokia phones, and those purchasing Pantech mobile phones can get a branded wristwatch or sunglasses.

The new showroom at Dubai Knowledge village is being launched less then two weeks after the opening of Cellucom's fourth showroom at Satwa, which was inaugurated by the Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy. "We have been expanding our retail operations in Dubai rapidly in order to ensure Cellucom's frontline presence in all significant zones in the city. This is in line with our strategy to further strengthen our position as a major reseller of mobile communication devices in the Middle Eastern market," said Guninder Singh, Marketing Manager, Cellucom.
