Gemplus presents smart ID card and electronic passport technology at GITEX Dubai 2004

Gemplus, the world's leading provider of smart card solutions, is exhibiting at this year's edition of GITEX at the Dubai World Trade Center Complex (DWTC).
At the booth, Gemplus will demonstrate "ResIDent", its secure ID card solution, which is currently being implemented for nationwide deployments in both the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Sultanate of Oman. Gemplus will also showcase, "GemBorder" its electronic passport technology for secure contactless authentication of passport-holders.
The Gemplus regional office in Dubai holds a strong local presence in the Middle East, as demonstrated by recent significant successes in the national ID card space. Throughout the exhibition, the Gemplus team will be available for private meetings with the attendees, in order to discuss and showcase how smart card solutions can enhance their business.

Gemplus will be exhibiting within the Dubai Internet City (DIC) Community Zone (DIC-25) in Concourse 2, between Exhibition Halls 7 and 8. GITEX will be open to trade visitors from 1-7pm on 3 October and 10am-7pm from 4-7 October.
