Eight leading local and global organisations to support Arab Strategy Forum

Eight pre-eminent local and international organisations have come forward to offer their unstinted support for this year's Arab Strategy Forum.

The premiere annual event of the Arab world will be held from 13th to 15th December 2004 in Dubai.

At a Press Conference held here today, Nabil Al Yousuf, Vice Chairman of the Arab Strategy Forum Organising Committee announced the names of the six Organizing Partners and two Media Partners.

"We are delighted to announce our collaboration with eight reputed local and international organisations, who are supporting the success of this eminent event. They are Emirates National Oil Company Ltd (ENOC), Abraaj Capital, PricewaterhouseCooper, DaimlerChrysler Middle East, National Bank of Dubai and Gulf News, in addition to our Media Partners Al Sharq Al Awsat and CNN," Al Yousuf stated.

He said: "The participation of these esteemed companies, reflects their commitment and support to this year's forum. The Arab Strategy Forum 2004 expects to draw a number of top international speakers including Heads of State, academics and economists and other experts who represent the greatest thinkers of our time.

"The Forum, being held under by the directives of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minster of Defence, is designed to promote a constructive and collaborative approach to regional political, developmental and security issues .We believe that having an open and frank discussion involving the decision-makers and officials, is vital for improving the current situation of the Arab world," added Al Yousuf.

Nabil Al Yousuf concluded: "We hope that this year's Arab Strategy Forum will provide us all with valuable insights which will help in improving the status of the Arab World. We very much look forward to the experts' forecast on the regional scenarios of what the Arab world would be like by the year 2020."
