HSBC opens new downtown office

The Unit is staffed by a customer service team 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm, and is the first to include a mortgage service department.

The Unit will allow customers to apply for new accounts, loans, credit cards and chequebooks, and enquire about the whole range of HSBC's services. An ATM located at the Unit will allow customers to withdraw cash and make deposits 24 hours a day. New ATM and credit cards, and cheque books can also be collected from the new location.

The Unit was formally opened by David Hodgkinson, Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chairman of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited on 29 September. Speaking at the opening, Mr Hodgkinson said "We are delighted to have found such a prime location for our new customer outlet in Dubai. This office offers our customers a very convenient high profile new point of contact with us. We are continually working to extend and develop the channels for customers to use for their banking and other financial requirements, and this office represents the best of all worlds. It is central, but with car parking spaces for customers, the team of professionals we have here are available at times which we believe will best suit our customers, and the new ATMs provide a wide range of other services."

HSBC's Mortgage Service team has also moved to the new location. Offering mortgages on properties in certain developments in the emirates of Dubai and now Ras Al Khaimah, the team bring the best of HSBC's award winning mortgage services to the UAE, as well as advice on mortgage services available for properties in the UK. The team are available 6 days a week from 8 am to 4 pm.
